(A.K.A. MLSA's Students with Disabilities Rep)
Andy prides himself on his community involvement. He has an extensive history of advocacy for students living with disabilities at the U of M, in Manitoba, and nationally. In his spare time, he sits on the Canadian Bar Association’s Law Students section, plays wheelchair basketball, and volunteers with a charity that helps children living with disabilities. Please feel free to reach out about anything (including your thoughts on sports)!
The Accessibility Rep advocates on behalf of Robson students who identify as living with a disability. This is primarily done within the MLSA structure but may involve general advocacy to the administration. For instance, in this position last year, Andrew met with the AD’s office to advocate for changes to accommodation forms.
