Meet Caitlin
The Catalyst
(A.K.A. MLSA's Visible Minorities Rep)

Caitlin is currently a 2L student at Robson Hall and is excited to serve as the Visible Minorities Rep for the 2022/2023 year!
Caitlin is a proud second-generation Filipina-Canadian and biracial woman, and has had a passion for diversity since a young age. She has a long history of involvement with Folklorama and other organizations including Special Olympics Manitoba and the University of Manitoba’s Language Partners program. During her first year of law, Caitlin volunteered with PBSC and was appointed the 1L Rep for the Diversity in Law Group. She continues to be involved with this group and is currently serving as the Director of Communications. Prior to law school, Caitlin completed her Advanced Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Manitoba.
As your Visible Minorities Rep, Caitlin will ensure that all visible minority students’ interests are being met at the executive level while promoting an overall culture of diversity and inclusion at Robson Hall. In this role she also plans to create opportunities and events tailored to racialized students that promote connections with one another and the broader legal community. Caitlin hopes to create a safe space for visible minority students and will advocate on their behalf. If you have any questions, concerns, or just want to chat, Caitlin would be more than happy to talk with you!”
