Cultural Diversity in Law Group
For those who are passionate about breaking boundaries.
What is it?: The Cultural Diversity in Law Group is a student group whose aim is to create and promote opportunities for law students of visible minority backgrounds in the legal field and broader community.
Why Join?: The CDLG is committed to promoting equality and opportunities for visible minority students and lawyers within the legal field. By joining the CDLG, students are able to connect with each other at the group’s social events, including game nights and hosted lunches. Members are also given the opportunity to learn from and network with other lawyers who value diversity and equality within the legal system.
How to Join?: We invite all students, both visible minority law students and allies from all backgrounds who seek to support diversity in law, to join our Facebook page. With school being online, we are choosing to waive our $5 membership fee for the upcoming fall semester. If you have any questions about CDLG, please feel free to contact any of our executives.
We will be looking for a 1L Representative to join our team. More updates will be posted on our Facebook page regarding the application process, so stay tuned!
