RH Employment & Labour Law Group

For those who are passionate about picket lines.

What is it?: The Robson Hall Employment and Labour Law Club (“RHELLC”) is a group that provides students with practical and experiential opportunities, in addition to robust expertise on a variety of aspects of employment and labour law.

Why Join?: Students will have the opportunity to learn from leading practitioners in the field. In the past, featured guests have presented on topics including human rights, civil litigation, union relations, and other employment disputes. Such extra-curricular discussions not only further student knowledge, but also provide invaluable experiences to grow and expand their legal network.

RHELLC’s enhanced learning discussions are supplemented by opportunities that provide ‘real-world’ experiences. Each year, we select delegates to participate in the Hockey Arbitration Competition of Canada. Even if you do not envision yourself practicing in the area of employment and labour law, we encourage you to consider getting involved!

How to Join?: RHELLC is always open for new members to join! If you are interested in becoming involved, or simply want to learn more, please send an email to rhellcmanitoba@gmail.com. We look forward to meeting you!
