Environmental Law Group
For those looking to protect future generations.

What is it?: The Robson Hall Environmental Law Group (ELG) aims to provide a forum for students interested in environmental law to meet and explore a variety of perspectives related to this field. The ELG hosts numerous speakers throughout the year, collaborates on an annual research project, runs the faculty-wide Sustainability Challenge, and organizes a year-end Wine & Cheese.
Why Join?: Through the ELG’s activities you gain legal research and writing skills and have a chance to connect with Manitoba-based and out-of-province lawyers working on environmental law files in a small group setting. The Sustainability Challenge also offers an opportunity for you to share your favourite “green” activities with the Robson Hall community in a fun, encouraging way.
Get in touch: If you are interested in joining the ELG, feel free to reach out to Matt Rakar, ELG President for 2022-2023. You are also welcome to join our Facebook group to stay updated on environmental law updates and opportunities throughout the school year
