Hello! My name is Minseo Kim (she/her) and I am so happy to be the 2L Representative with Raina this year.
A little more about me: I went to high school here in Winnipeg, completed my BSc Psychology degree at McGill University in Montréal. Now that I’m back home and at Robson hall, I couldn't be happier. I was the 1L Representative of AO3 last year and had a great experience. Outside of law, I am either thrifting, playing video games, or testing new Korean recipes.
As 2L Class Rep, I want to make sure we all stay connected to the MLSA, the Faculty, and the University.

Hello everyone! My name is Raina DeGroot, and I am one of the 2L co-representatives for the 2026/2027 academic year!
Before law school, I did my BA in criminal justice at the University of Winnipeg and criminal law remains my practice area of interest. Since coming to Robson Hall, I have been active within the MLSA as one of the previous 1L reps, Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC), the Mental Health committee, and I am a current co-chair for the Professional Development Committee (PDC). Outside of school, my interests spread throughout wide areas! I am an avid reader of romance and fantasy, enjoy moving my body with weightlifting, boxing, and Pilates, and am a very dedicated pom coach to four amazing teams of girls. If you want to get me talking for hours- just ask me about those girls!!
My main goal as a representative for our second-year class is to make sure everyone feels supported as both a student and individual, to keep our class aligned with dates of events and deadlines and be a strong advocate for you all in your areas of concern.
