Vanessa Smith
Hi everyone! My name is Vanessa Smith, and I’m currently a third-year law student at Robson Hall. Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as both 1L and 2L Class Representative, and I’m excited to continue in this role as the 3L Class Representative for the 2025–2026 academic year!
Before law school, I completed my Bachelor of Science here at the University of Manitoba. Since starting at Robson, I’ve been involved with Pro Bono Students Canada, the Spirit Committee, and this year, I’m proud to serve as Co-Chair of the Professional Development Committee. I’m also a participant in Robson Hall’s Concentration in Access to Justice in French. Outside of school, you’ll often find me spending time with friends or enjoying the outdoors.
As 3L Class Rep, my role is to serve as a liaison between the Class of 2026, the MLSA, the Faculty of Law, and the University.

Seth Garcia
Hi, my name is Seth Garcia, and I am a third-year student at Robson Hall. I’m excited to be serving as a 3L Representative!
During my time at Robson Hall, I have been involved with Pro Bono Students Canada, Robson Hall Curling, and Law Games. I will also be serving as a Co-Chair for the Sports Committee this year. Outside of school, you can find me taking photos, exploring new music, playing sports, or working out at the gym. I am also a huge nerd and love video games.
