ACCESSIBILITY COMMITTEE

What does this committee do for you?

The Accessibility Committee is responsible for ensuring that all MLSA events are held in accessible locations. It is also responsible for receiving inquiries and complaints from MLSA members, collaborating with students, other Committees and student groups on matters regarding accessibility, reporting to the MLSA, and routinely conducting accessibility audits.

Why should you join this awesome committee?

The Accessibility Committee provides members with the opportunity to create a more fair and conscientious environment for all students at Robson Hall. Members are able to develop both their advocacy and collaboration skills within this Committee.

    Hi Robson!

My name is Caleb Masters, I'm a 2L, and I'll be a Co-Chair for the Accessibility Committee for the 2025-26 academic year.

Before attending Robson, I attained my MA from Queen's University in Philosophy with a specialization in political and legal thought. My research focus was moral philosophy, specifically the moral function of contempt. Outside of school, I have a background in the culinary industry working as a cook for several years. On that note, I have a passion for cooking, rabbits, and building with Lego. Ask me about any of these topics and I can talk your ear off.

Volunteering and public service are also very important to me. During my undergraduate studies I worked two years as president of the Rotaract Club of Queen's University, where I organized fundraisers, food drives, and hygiene drives on behalf of our Rotary and community partners. Here at Robson, I volunteered with WISE Manitoba's "No Means No" and have worked with the Winnipeg Food Council through PBSC.

I'm very excited to serve as Co-Chair of the Accessibility Committee this year. If you have any questions or concerns about the accessibility of any event, please reach out to us!
