What does this committee do for you?
The Communications Committee is responsible for the design, production, and advertisement of the MLSA, its committees, and student groups. It is also responsible for the maintenance of the MLSA website (including the Event Calendar) and the MLSA social media pages.

Joining the Communications Committee is a fantastic way to develop your creative skills and build a portfolio. The Committee’s work provides numerous opportunities to hone your communication, strategy, and creative skills – helpful for both your resume and real life. It might even give you a connecting point with creative clients in future practice!

Allison Byram
Hi everyone! My name is Allison Byram (she/her), a current 2L at Robson Hall. Alongside Maia, I am thrilled to serve as Co-Chair of the Comms Squad to ensure that we all make the most of our time at Robson and are in the know of all the amazing events put on by the hardworking students in our Faculty.
Prior to law school, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, watching reality television, running & hiking.

Maia Bacchus
Hi everyone! my name is Maia Bacchus (she/her), and along with Allison, I am super excited to be your Communications Committee Co-Chair.
Currently, I am in my third year at Robson. Prior to law school, I completed an advanced B.A with a major in PoliSci and a minor in French. You'll also find me around many of the Bilingual Students Association events.
In my free time, I love to travel, hike, and coach my favourite sport - fencing!
