COMMUNITY OUTREACH
What does this committee do for you?
The Community Outreach Committee is responsible for promoting community involvement amongst Robson Hall students while providing them with opportunities to get involved. Some of the events and projects that the Community Outreach Committee regularly organizes at Robson Hall include the Winnipeg Harvest Holiday Hamper Drive, Movember, the Pet Rescue Collection Drive, Motionball participation, the Daniel McIntyre Mentorship Program, and Lawyers for Literacy.
Why should you join this awesome committee?
In addition to the sense of fulfillment that comes from contributing to these and other great causes, Community Outreach Committee members also gain numerous skills valuable to their legal careers, such as time management, effective communication, and organization.

I’m Abby, a 2L student at Robson Hall and one of the incoming co-chairs of the Community Outreach Committee for the 2024-2025 year. I am also going to be a member of the Academic Committee, and I have been on the FLF Executive committee since my 1L year. I’m excited to take on the role of Co-chair and to facilitate Robson Hall’s outreach and volunteer work in the community. I enjoy being active in projects that foster community participation. I want to encourage students to become involved in our committee’s activities throughout the year and help us give back to our wonderful community.
