Hey folks! I'm Marianna Pozdirca, your representative to the Manitoba Bar Association (MBA) for 2024-2025. I am excited to take on this role and be the bridge between all law students and our future professional association. As some of you may know, law is not my first profession. I first learned about the impact of professional associations during my Doctor of Pharmacy degree and now sit on the board of the provincial professional association for pharmacists. Professional associations foster mentorship for the next generation (i.e. us!). They leverage the expertise of our profession to advocate across the entire province and beyond. They spark connection and learning among all generations.

As your MBA Representative, I hope you take advantage of the many opportunities provided by the MBA, including the mentorship program, the Mid-Winter conference, and all the networking and learning opportunities provided by MBA sections.
