Hello everyone! My name is Mercedes Baglee, and I am a second-year part-time law student at Robson Hall serving as the MLSA Part-time Representative for the 2026-2027 academic year.

I’m a mom of six, so my path through law school looks a little different than the traditional law school experience. Balancing law school with a busy family life has given me a particular appreciation for the different responsibilities students may be managing outside of the classroom. I am passionate about access to justice and making legal information more accessible to the people who need it.

As a Part-time Representative, I want to ensure part-time students have a voice within the MLSA and feel connected to the Robson Hall community. I also hope to bring attention to some of the unique challenges that come with completing law school part-time and help ensure part-time students are included in opportunities, events, and decisions that affect student life.
