Emily Palmer
Hello everyone, my name is Emily Palmer and I am a third-year student at Robson Hall/Faculty of Law! I am thrilled to serve as a Co-chair of the Social Committee for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Before starting law school, I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Manitoba, where I majored in Psychology and minored in Women's and Gender Studies. I then went on to complete my Master of Journalism degree at the University of British Columbia. Throughout my studies, I have loved to spend time outdoors, engaging in fitness, and have developed a passion for educating young people about mental health and wellness.
In my role as Co-Chair of the Social Committee, I am committed to providing fun and meaningful social events this year for all students. This year's Social Committee is planning a ton of incredible events, from Orientation Week to the annual Carbolic Smoke Ball. I will be accessible to discuss any ideas for this year's social activities and open to any questions that students may have.
