Georgette Caranay
Hiya everyone! My name is Georgette Caranay and I am a Co-Chair for the Social Committee of this 2025/2026 academic school year!
Prior to law school, I completed a degree in Political Studies and Sociology. Ever since I joined the Robson Hall community, I have been involved in No Means No, the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL), the Manitoba Law Reform Commission, and I am also the Racialized Students’ Representative of the MLSA.
Outside of school, you will find me watercolour painting, reading, journaling, running, or enjoying a good London Fog. Above all, I absolutely love spending time with my family and friends. This typically involves watching shows/movies, playing video games, fishing with my family, or walking around the city with my friends after consuming amounts of food that can only be compared to the gluttony they speak of in the Bible.
I absolutely adore the Robson Hall community and my experience so far in law school. I believe that to make the most out of your law school experience, you must throw some fun in there! With the help of my team, my goal is to come up with some events that will allow students to get a mental break, enjoy great company, and create some unforgettable memories. If you have any ideas or just want to chat, reach out to me anytime! TOODLES!

Linnea Kosokowsky
Hi! My name is Linnea Kosokowsky (she/her), and I’m currently a second-year law student at Robson Hall.
Before law school, I graduated with a commerce degree from the Asper School of Business, with a major in Leadership and Organizations. In my first year at Robson, I participated in Law League soccer, PBSC, Robson Hall curling, and I was the 1L Rep for the Robson Hall Mental Health Group. Outside of school, you can usually find me trying a new recipe in the kitchen/bar or spending time with my 2 year-old twin nieces.
In addition to being one of the Social Committee co-chairs, I’m also excited to be a member of the Professional Development Committee.
As co-chair of the Social Committee, I take my responsibility of being your chief vibe curator very seriously :) Please feel free to reach out if you have any comments/questions/concerns about any of our upcoming events. I’m excited for a great year!
