Howdy y’all, my name is Riley James Parker. I’m 26, a libra, and I like long walks on the beach. I’m also VPF of the MLSA. 

I earned my BA from the University of Manitoba, majoring in History and minoring in Indigenous Studies. At Robson Hall, I am the Founder/President of the Squash Association, President of the Tennis Club, Co-President of the Curling League, and VPF of the Debate Society. I sit on the Art Committee, the Endowment Fund Committee, and the Strategic Advisory Committee. I’m a Program Coordinator for Pro Bono Students Canada, a Volunteer Coordinator for the Winnipeg Folk Festival, and I sit on the Board of Directors for Survivors Hope Crisis Centre. 

In my spare time I play squash, tennis, curling, hockey, golf, ultimate, and inner tube waterpolo. I ran my first marathon this past summer. Goals of mine are to do the splits, buy land, become Premier, and start a cult.

As VPF I create the MLSA budget and manage our finances, funding the committees, clubs, and events at Robson Hall. I know everything and I’m a real chatty Cathy so please don’t ever hesitate to reach out. Cheers!
